In 1993, the Arts Consortium of Cincinnati’s African American Museum officially opened its doors during Black History Month. The Museum is the home to the historical exhibit “Bein’ Round Natti Town,” and the William L. Mallory, Sr. Gallery
“Bein’ Round Natti Town” is a permanent photographic exhibit, which documents great migration of African Americans into Ohio and particularly Cincinnati between years of 1800 and 1950. This exhibition commemorates the first 150 years of struggle
and achievements by those Cincinnatians.
